Christoni Travel invites you to a beautiful two-day trip to Epirus, featuring destinations that combine natural beauty, traditional architecture, and significant religious pilgrimage sites.

Day 1: Larissa – Monodendri – Tsepelovo – Ioannina

Departure at 07:30 AM from the Larissa Conservatory, heading towards the Zagorochoria villages.

Our first stop is the stunning village of Monodendri, situated at an altitude of 1,060 meters, offering an impressive view of the Vikos Gorge. We will have free time for coffee and a stroll through the village; the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi, located right above the Vikos Gorge, is of particular interest.

Next, we depart for Tsepelovo, the most populous village in the Zagori region. The village is characterized by its traditional stone architecture, with the Church of Agios Nikolaos and the "Estia" cultural center standing out as highlights. There will be free time for a walk and, optionally, lunch at a local tavern.

Later, we depart for Ioannina, the capital of Epirus, built on the shores of Lake Pamvotis. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel and have free time to explore the city. Overnight stay in Ioannina.

Day 2: Ioannina – Konitsa – Stomion Monastery – Larissa

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart with our luggage for Konitsa.

Our first stop is the house of Saint Paisios. Afterward, those who wish may hike to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Stomiou, situated in one of the country's most impressive locations within the Aoos Gorge.

Stomion Monastery is the monastery restored by Saint Paisios. During our visit, we will tour the monastery grounds and see the cell where the Saint resided, as well as the ecclesiastical museum featuring Byzantine icons and relics of Saints transferred to the monastery from the "Old Monastery" (Palaiomonastiro).

Next, there will be an opportunity for an optional lunch beside the historic Konitsa Bridge.

Later, we begin our return journey to Larissa, with a stop along the way. We arrive in the evening, concluding a two-day trip filled with beautiful sights, natural beauty, and significant pilgrimage sites.

Children up to 3 years old: free of charge, when accompanied by two adults. Child (3–11 years old): €110, sharing a room with two adults.
