A beautiful afternoon pilgrimage excursion with a spiritual character, dedicated to the First Salutations and Vespers of the feast of Saints Theodoros.

Departure at 15:30 from Agios Vissarionos Square with destination the Holy Monastery of Saints Theodoros of Kalambaka, one of the most historic monastic establishments in Thessaly. The monastery dominates the top of a rocky hill near the settlement of the same name and has been a place of prayer and spiritual peace for centuries.

Despite the trials and destructions it has suffered over the years, the monastery has experienced periods of prosperity and renovations, and today it operates as a women's monastery, continuing its spiritual tradition. We will attend the First Greetings and the Vespers on the eve of the feast, in a devout atmosphere.

After the end of the service we depart for Trikala, where we will have free time of about an hour for a walk or coffee. Then return to Larissa.
