Afternoon pilgrimage excursion to the imposing Meteora, with participation in the 3rd Greetings at the Holy Monastery of Saint Stephen.

Departure at 15:30 from Agios Bessarionos Square with destination Meteora and the Holy Monastery of Saint Stephen, one of the six active monasteries of this unique complex that has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The history of the monastery begins in the late 12th century, while its current form was formed over the following centuries. Since 1961, it has operated as a women's monastery and stands out for its catholicons, frescoes, sacristy and monastic architecture.

We will watch the Salutations service in a devout atmosphere. After the service, we will depart for Trikala, where we will have free time of about an hour and a half for a walk or a coffee. Then we will return to Larissa.
