Christonis Travel invites you to a beautiful winter excursion in Athens, with a visit to the Monastery of Agia Irini Chrysovalantou, the Acropolis Museum, and a walk through Christmas decorated Athens.

Departure from Agios Vissarionos square at 06:30 in the morning.
First Stop: Agia Irini Chrysovalantou
Arrival at the Monastery of Agia Irini Chrysovalantou for a pilgrimage to the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary. The stop will last about 40 minutes, offering the opportunity for prayer and contemplation in this sacred space.
Acropolis Museum
Then, departure for the center of Athens with a stop at the Acropolis Museum. The museum, located in the southeast of the Acropolis, offers a unique experience that combines ancient Greek history with modern architecture. For those who wish, there will be a stop at Syntagma for a walk or shopping in the area.
On the ground floor of the museum, there is a cafe with a glass floor that reveals the archaeological excavations, while on the second floor there is a restaurant with a panoramic view of the Acropolis.
Walk in Monastiraki
Free time for a walk in Monastiraki, where you will be able to enjoy the festive atmosphere, the traditional shops and the streets decorated for Christmas. Tour the heart of old Athens, exploring the market and picturesque alleyways.
Return:
In the afternoon, at 17:30, departure from the Syntagma in front of the monument of the Unknown Soldier for Larissa. Arrival in our city in the evening.
