Christoni Travel invites you to a special one-day excursion to Epirus, featuring visits to the historic Holy Monastery of Molyvdoskepasti and the beautiful town of Konitsa.

We will depart at 07:00 AM from the Larissa Conservatory, with a stop along the way for coffee. Our first destination is the Holy Monastery of Panagia Molyvdoskepasti, located just 400 meters from the Greek-Albanian border in the historic Bourazani area. This monastery boasts a long history; according to tradition, it was built in 670 AD and derives its name from the lead plates that once covered the church roof. We will have time for a pilgrimage and a tour of the monastery grounds.

Next, we head to Konitsa, where we will have free time to visit the childhood home of Saint Paisios—now operating as a museum—and enjoy a meal in the town center.

Our excursion continues with a visit to the famous stone bridge of Konitsa, one of the region's most significant landmarks and an impressive example of traditional architecture. We will have time to take photos and admire the unique natural landscape surrounding the Aoos River. On the return journey, we will stop in Ioannina for coffee and a rest before heading back to Larissa, carrying with us beautiful images, moments of spiritual reverence, and unforgettable travel experiences.
