Live a unique pilgrimage experience in the blessed land of Konitsa, where Saint Paisios the Athonite practiced asceticism. A day full of history, spirituality and natural beauty! 

Excursion Program:
Departure at 06:30 from Saint Vissarion Square (Larissa), with intermediate stops along the way. 

Holy Monastery of Stomios
Our first stop, the Holy Monastery of Stomios, where Saint Paisios practiced asceticism for 4 years. Built in the magnificent Aoos Gorge, it offers a unique experience both spiritual and nature-loving.
The route to the Monastery is on foot, following a gentle path of approximately 3.5 km. that starts from the imposing stone bridge of Konitsa. This is an easy hike suitable for all ages. 

House of Saint Paisios
Next, we will visit the ancestral home of Saint Paisios, a simple, peaceful house, where the worldly Arsenios Eznepides lived his childhood. We will tour the area, see personal items and feel the blessing of the place where one of the most beloved modern Saints of Orthodoxy grew up. 

Break for lunch at a local tavern in Konitsa (individual expenses). 

Return
Departure to Larissa with the necessary stops for rest. Arrival in the evening with a full heart and soul.
