A captivating afternoon excursion on the occasion of Holy Tuesday and the observation of the Troparion of Kassiani, in a historical and particularly important place of worship.

Departure at 17:30 from Agios Vissarionos Square with destination the Holy Monastery of Agios Ioannis Theologos in Zarkos. The monastery was founded in the 15th century and was for centuries an important spiritual center of the region. After its destruction in 1897 and the period of abandonment that followed, the Monastery was restored and brought back to life, today constituting a real jewel for Thessaly.

In the elegant and well-kept space of the monastery we will have the opportunity to participate in the Holy Tuesday service and listen to the moving Troparion of Kassiani, in an atmosphere of deep devotion and spirituality.

After the end of the service, departure for the return to Larissa.
