Christoni Travel invites you on a beautiful day trip to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. It is a city of striking contrasts, where the Old Town, Ottoman elements, and historical monuments coexist with modern architecture.

Larissa – Skopje – Larissa

We gather and depart at 06:00 from Agios Vissarionas Square, heading towards the Evzoni border crossing. After clearing border control and making a few stops along the way, we continue to Skopje.

Our tour begins at the entrance to the Old Town, right next to the impressive Stone Bridge over the Vardar River. There, we will visit the Church of Saint Demetrius—an elegant religious structure dating back to 1886—as well as the historic Daud Pasha Baths, which now house the City Art Gallery.

The Vardar River (Axios) divides the city into two distinct sections, with the famous Stone Bridge—dating back to the 15th century—serving as the link between them.

Next, we will visit Mount Vodno, home to the imposing Millennium Cross; this massive cross is illuminated at night and is visible from many parts of the city.

Our tour continues as we explore the many different facets of Skopje. In the modern part of the city, we encounter architecture from the communist era, while the Old Town is defined by cobblestone alleys, old mosques, and traditional Muslim-style houses.

We will also visit the old railway station and the Church of the Savior, and enjoy plenty of free time in the Old Town to stroll, shop, and dine at the area's traditional establishments.

In the afternoon, we depart for Larissa, with stops along the way.

A valid passport or a new-type national ID card is required for the trip.

For minors under 18 traveling unaccompanied, a solemn declaration from both parents is required—certified by a public authority, a Citizen Service Center (KEP), or electronically via gov.gr—stating that the parents are aware of and consent to the child's unaccompanied travel.
